Ocean Beach (also known as Emerald Cove), is an ideal holiday destination, located near the small township of Umina, not far from Gosford. It has a very long, white sandy beach with good surfing and fishing. It is sheltered, being inside Broken Bay, and is ideal for swimming and family days at the beach. Local attractions include: beach activities, surfing, sailing, swimming, wind surfing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, bushwalking and boating. There are many other activities, attractions and entertainments in the area. You can stroll on the beach track and rocks to Pearl Beach. You can catch a ferry or water taxi and visit Palm Beach, Ettalong and some of the other small villages in Broken Bay.
