The kangaroos are relatively tame and can be photographed and patted. Pebbly Beach is located south of Termeil and can be reached by travelling about 8km along a gravel road from the turnoff. At the back of Pebbly Beach is Mount Durras, which has magnificent views over the coast and west to the Eastern Escarpment. It takes about an hour to climb Mount Durras from Pebbly Beach and although the track is steep in parts, the views are well worth the effort. There are many other great walks in the area, including a track that links Pebbly Beach to Pretty Beach. Pebbly Beach is a great spot for a holiday with many wonderful attrctions and activities at Pebbly Beach and in the surrounding district.
