The small town of Potato Point, lies north of Dalmeny and south of Tuross Head. Potato Point is enclosed by the Eurobodalla National Park and lies east of Bodalla. Montague Island lies off the coast and you can book tours to visit Montague Island Nature Reserve in advance. Montague Island is famous for its lighthouse, history and its seal and penguin colonies. The coastal landscape is stunning with a beautiful array of mountains, beaches, waterways, cliffs and native bushland. Rock and Beach fishing are very popular at Potato Point, and there is excellent lake fishing in Tuross Lake. The local beaches are famous for catches of tailor, salmon, jewfish and bream. There are a wide range of attractions and excellent facilities for a wide range of activities including: surfing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, bushwalking or simply relaxing on the beach.
