Listed Below are the Purnululu National Park - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.The World Heritage Listed Purnululu National Park in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia is home to the famous Bungle Bungle Range. From a plane, the Bungle Bungle Range is an imposing sight with a series or beehive-like mounds enclosed in a skin of silica and algae, covered in orange and black horizontal stripes. There is also a series of gorges and pools dotted with fan palms clinging to crevices in the rocks and the rock walls. The area has been a national park since 1987 and the park offers a remote wilderness experience. There are few facilities and visitors must carry in all food and water. There are general public camping facilities at Kurrajong and Walardi campsites, but both sites having limited facilities with limited water and bush toilets. Petrol, supplies and water are available from Turkey Creek which is about three hour`s drive from the park on a rough bush track. It is advised that visitors carry in all food and water and have 4WD vehicles and take the general precautions for remote areas. There are a number of privately operated campgrounds in the area that offer meals, accommodation and tours, but bookings essential.
