Rosedale is a small service town for a rich pastoral and agricultural district on the banks of the Latrobe River, located on the Princes Highway about 185 km east of Melbourne, between Sale and Traralgon. It is the gateway to Ninety Mile Beach, East Gippsland, the Holey Plains State Park, the Strzelecki Ranges and the Latrobe Valley. Rosedale has many historic buildings including the Mechanics Institute, St Mark`s Church and Nambrok.
