The small town of Salt Creek in the gateway to the remote southern parts of the Coorong National Park and is the base for the Coorong National Park Information Centre. Salt Creek also marks the start of several excellent bushwalks including the Lakes Nature Trail, a short interpretive walk, and the Ngrugie Ngoppun walk. You can see pelicans at the Jacks Point Pelican Observatory. Explore the Chinamans Well historic site.
