Sanctuary Point is one of a group of holiday villages on the shores of St Georges Basin. Sanctuary Point is about 250 km south of Sydney and 25 km south of Nowra on the South Coast. Sanctuary Point is perfectly placed to enjoy all the attractions, recreational activities and facilities of St Georges Basin. The large tidal lagoon lake is great for sailing, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, sailing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing. Sanctuary Point is a short drive away from all the spectacular scenery attractions, activities and facilities of magnificent Jervis Bay. The townships of Huskisson and Vincentia provide good dive shops, general shopping, cafes, restaurants and entertainment including movies, clubs and Dolphin Watch cruises. There are excellent boat ramps all along the Basin. There is a wide range of holiday accommodation at Sanctuary Point and the other villages on the shores of St Georges Basin and Jervis Bay.
