San Remo is located at the western tip of the Anderson Peninsula, about 120 km south-east of Melbourne, and the end of the bridge connecting Newhaven on Phillip Island with the mainland. San Remo is a renowned fishing village and the hub of the boating activity is the San Remo Jetty, offering direct access to both Western Port Bay and Bass Strait. Visitors can enjoy the bay fishing boat charters and ocean fishing adventures that leave from the jetty. San Remo has a number of back beaches facing Bass Strait.
