Scotts Head is part of the Nambucca Valley`s fantastic holiday locations boasting beautiful rainforests, unspoilt beaches, friendly historic villages and towns, and great facilities and attractions to suit all tastes. Scotts Head is a great place to stay as a base from which to explore the all the surrounding region has to offer. Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, and South West Rocks are all within an hour away. Scotts Head has fabulous surf at 3 beaches. Big Beach is suitable for families and children and is patrolled during summer months. It is more than 10 km long and it is great for swimming, fishing or jogging. The rocky outcrops are ideal for fishing and for kids to explore. There are boat ramps at Big Beach and at Warrell Creek, which has over 25 km of navigable waterways for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. There is a wide range of beachfront accommodation at Scotts Head and a wide range of recreational facilities.
