Sellicks Beach is located only about 45 minutes south of Adelaide City, at the southern end of the City of Onkaparinga. Sellicks Beach has great facilities supporting a wide range of activities including fishing, surfing, swimming, kayaking, sailing and boating. Vehicle access to the beach is permitted, so you can easily access the best fishing spots. There are great boat launching facilities and local anglers mostly target snapper, flathead, tommy ruff, bream, mullet and whiting. Sellicks Beach is only about 20 minutes from the wonderful Mclaren Vale Wine Region with its wonderful array of cellar doors, cafes and fine restaurants. Close by is Aldinga Beach which ha a wide sandy beach, excellent swimming and boating facilities and there is boardwalk through the dunes. An Aquatic Reserve established about two kilometres off the beach is popular for scuba diving and snorkelling. There is a range of accommodation on the beach at Sellicks Beach.
