At the southern end of Dicky Beach is a rocky headland which separates it from Moffat Beach. On the other side of Moffat Head is Shelly Beach. Moffat and Shelly Beaches offer fantastic general beach activities, surfing and swimming, though Shelly Beach has rough waves and rocks. At low tide Shelly Beach is a wonderful place for exploration looking for shells, crabs and other marine life in the rock pools. At the southern end of Shelly Beach is rocky Caloundra Head (also known as Wickham Point). There is a wide variety of laces to stay at Shelly Beach and in the surrounding towns and villages.
