Silverwater is located on a peninsula that extends eastwards into Lake Macquarie from the south-west. It is near Balcolyn east of Morisset. Silverwater has good lake access with a boat ramp for fishing and boating on the lake. Nearby there is an excellent golf course, many great surfing beaches and the coast, and less than an hour`s drive to the Hunter Valley vineyards.
