The Great Lakes Region, located about 300 km north of Sydney, has a stunning coastline and an array if inland waterways through the magnificent Wallis, Smiths and Myall lakes. It features a stunning array of bays, surf beaches, lakes, waterway, attractions, and recreational and entertainment facilities that make this area a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Smiths Lake is located between Wallis and Myall Lakes, and is about 20 km drive south of Forster. The lake has many beautiful secluded beaches and lots of calm shallow areas with sand that are ideal for swimming, especially for children. There is magnificent surfing at Blueys, Elizabeth, Blueys, and Boomerang Beaches, which are only about 20 minutes away. Seal Rocks with its magnificent scenery and lighthouse are also nearby.
