Stuarts Point is a small holiday destination located about half way between Brisbane and Sydney, and about 50 km drive from Kempsey. Stuarts Point lies on the banks of the beautiful Macleay River and has a fantastic array of holiday attractions and recreation activities based on surfing and swimming at its excellent beaches and fantastic fishing, sailing and boating in the river, estuary and ocean. Anglers have many great spots to try: rock, beach, river, headland, estuary, boat, shoreline and offshore, and there is good access via many launching ramps. You can walk across the footbridge, through the sand dunes to the beach which is ideal for surfing, swimming, beach fishing and relaxing with the family. Stuarts Point Beach runs about 10 km from Grassy Head to the northern wall of the Macleay River. There are many great bush walks along the river banks. Stuarts Point has a shopping centre, Bowls Club, resorts, a caravan park, many holiday houses and units and great holiday maker facilities. Stuarts Point has a quiet, relaxed, welcoming and friendly atmosphere that makes it a perfect holiday spot. There are lots of places to stay at Stuarts Point and in the nearby towns of the Macleay Valley.
