You can walk across the footbridge, and through the sand dunes to the beach which is ideal for surfing, swimming, beach fishing and relaxing with the family. Stuarts Point Beach runs about 10 km from Grassy Head to the northern wall of the Macleay River. There are many great bush walks along the river banks. Stuarts Point has a shopping centre, Bowls Club, resorts, a caravan park, many holiday houses and units and great holiday maker facilities.
