The Tasman Peninsula is located on the South East coast of Tasmania, about 80 km south-east of Hobart. It is popular holiday destination with stunning coastal scenery, fantastic surfing beaches and it is home to the renowned the Port Arthur Historic Site. It is famous for its rugged rock formations along the coast. There are famous surfing beaches on the Tasman Peninsula at Roaring Beach and Cape Roaul. There are many wonderful tourist attractions and great facilities for a wide range of activities. Some of the features are bush walking in the forests, visiting local farms, seeing sheer cliffs, swimming at secluded beaches and enjoying great snorkelling and scuba diving. Because of its high cliffs, the best way to access the diving sites is by boat or on a diving cruise. One famous diving spite on the Tasman Peninsula is the Waterfall Bay Caves.
