There are daily guided tours of the caves which were first discovered in 1882 and you can stay at the local pub or in cabin and camping facilities. Here you can explore spectacular above-ground caves in a limestone ridge. The Cathedral Cave Tour is very popular with its Cathedral Chamber, which is a popular venue for Carols at Christmas, weddings and orchestral performances. A special time to visit is at the Summer Solstice. For the adventurous, there are guided tours of the other caves with cave helmet lights and abseiling on the local cliffs. See the visitor centre for information about the cave tours, local geology, and local wildlife including the bats that inhabit the caves.
