- Where to Go, What to See and Do

Listed Below are the The Pinnacles - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.
The Pinnacles is a wonderful field of limestone pillars in Nambung National Park in an area known The Pinnacles Desert, located about 245 km north of Perth near fishing village of Cervantes. There is a field of thousands of bizarre limestone formations, resembling termite mounds that rise from the desert sand dunes. The limestone pillars range in height from a few centimetres to over 4m tall. The area surrounding the Pinnacles Desert features a magnificent display of wildflowers from August to October each year. The Pinnacles Desert is best seen at dawn or dusk when the pinnacles cast long shadows over the yellow sand dunes. The area also has a diverse range of wildlife. The more adventurous can take a two or three hour walk to the Red, White and Painted Coloured Deserts. You can also visit Hangover Bay and Kangaroo Point in the Nambung National Park.
