Located south-east of The Entrance, Toowoon Bay is a popular holiday destination on the Central Coast. It has a beautiful, sheltered horseshoe-shaped beach that is ideal for families. The bay is enclosed by a reef, which becomes exposed at low tide and it is a popular spot for swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing. There are excellent facilities at Toowoon Bay including a boat ramp, BBQ, picnic tables and chairs as well as grassed park areas. There is a range of excellent accommodation including caravan parks, units, holiday houses, apartments and luxury bed and breakfasts. The beach is patrolled by local lifesavers from October until the end of the April.
