Listed Below are the Tullah - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do.
Tullah is a former mining and hydroelectric power site town, framed by the magnificent Mount Farrell and Mount Murchison. It is located in the northern part of the West Coast Range, about 110 km south of Burnie. Tullah was originally a mining town and was later used as a construction town during the development of the Pieman Scheme and the Pieman River Dam. It is now a tourist destination with the beautiful Lake Rosebery on the edge of town and a favourite fishing spot. You can enjoy a wonderful trip about the Wee Georgie Wood Steam Railway that has been renovated and restored to operation on a short length of track on the Murchison Highway. Hire a mountain bike or take a guided wilderness walk on the magnificent tracks around the town. Launch your canoe or kayak and explore the lake or Henty River with an experienced guide, or take a horseback tour through the area. Local attractions include: # Fly fishing - for brown and rainbow trout # Wee Georgie Wood Steam Railway - delightful steam-drawn rides on Saturdays # Mt Farrell - views, a lake and wildflower displays in spring # Scenic drive to Anthony Power Station # Montezuma Falls - Tasmania`s tallest waterfall # Lakes, rivers and walking trails.
