Tuross Head is a favourite holiday destination located in the Eurobodalla Region on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales. Tuross has two small lakes, Coila Lake to the south and Tuross Lake to the north. Tuross Head has stunning views and beautiful beaches. Coila Beach and Tuross Main Beach overlook Montague Island. The lakes and beaches provide excellent recreational opportunities including: sailing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, waterskiing, swimming, kite surfing, snorkelling, diving, boating and a wide range of fishing opportunities. Most of the coastline in the hinterland is National Park and Forest providing excellent bushwalking. You can hire canoes, kayaks and motor boats for boating on Tuross Lake.
