There is a roadhouse and campground at the location, but the area has magnificent scenery of towering escarpments cut by the Victoria River. The nearby Gregory National Park conserves much of the colourful scenery in the area and features grassy plains, spectacular ancient boab trees and magnificent gorges carved out of sandstone escarpments.
