Wadeye, also known as Port Keats, is a remote Aboriginal community and town, located on the western edge of the Daly River Reserve about 240 km south west of Darwin. There is no road access to the town during the wet season, but there is year round access is via light aircraft or coastal barge. Flying time is around 50 minutes from Darwin. Wadeye has a large indigenous community. There are a number of fishing adventures and tours operated in this area.
