The shores of Waratah Bay strech in an arc of flat sandy beaches stretching almost 20 km, and enclosed in the west by Cape Liptrap to and by Wilsons Promontory in the east. There are very limited facilities in the town but there is a range of accommodation including a caravan park, holiday houses and apartments. The wonderful beaches at Waratah Bay are very popular or surfing and swimming, with the scenic backdrop of mountain peaks along the west coast of Wilsons Promontory. You can enjoy fishing, swimming and walking along these secluded beach and it is also only a short drive to all the extra attractions an activities on offer at Walkerville, Cape Liptrap, Wilsons Promontory, Foster and Fish Creek.
