Listed Below are the Best Wingham - Holiday Activities, Tours, Attractions - Find where to Go, what to See and Do in Wingham, NSW Australia.

Wingham is a scenic township on the upper reaches of the Manning River, located about 13 km north-west of Taree and 330 km north-east of Sydney in the hinterland of the Port Macquarie region on the Central New South Wales Coast. Wingham is a beautiful and peaceful `old world` country town which has retained its charming character unchanged by the local tourism. The riverside location makes Wingham a popular venue for kayaking, boating, canoeing, sailing, swimming, fishing and waterskiing. A major attraction is the famous Wingham Brush Nature Reserve that is located close to the centre of town off Farquhar Street. This is a unique remnant of the rainforest that originally covered the surrounding area. It is the last 10 hectares of remaining floodplain rainforest in all of NSW. Giant Moreton Bay figs are the dominate trees in the Brush along with a large population of grey headed flying foxes, birds and native marsupials and a wide variety of plants in the understorey. Near the Brush is an aquatic recreation area that includes parkland, picnic, BBQ and boat ramp facilities.
