Yamba is located on the north coast New South Wales about 120 km south of Byron Bay and 100 km north of Coffs Harbour. It lies at the mouth of the Clarence River and enclosed between the Yuraygir and Bundjalung National Parks, offering a huge array of natural aquatic and land based environments to explore and play in. Yamba has an ideal climate, magnificent beaches, great fishing, fabulous surfing, great sailing and boating, and lots of fantastic seafood and restaurants. Yamba has 11 beautiful beaches to choose from. The most popular are Main Beach, which is patrolled by the Yamba Surf Life Saving Club and features a 33m salt water rock pool and good snorkelling spots. Some of the other beaches are: Turners Beach, Whiting Beach, Convent Beach, Green Point, Pippi Beach, Flat Rock. Spooky Beach is great for kids, and has excellent spots for surfing and snorkelling and has 4 wheel drive access. Cruise through the myriad of waterways, walk or jog along the uncrowded beaches and enjoy Yamba`s friendly atmosphere all year round. Yamba has sporting and recreation groups, swimming pools, golf course, restaurants, bowling greens, fine restaurants, cafes, cinemas and a large deep-water marina. Yamba has it all!
