Yering was home to one of first wineries established in Victoria. Local wineries include Yering Range Vineyard and St Hubert's, Domaine Chandon and Yeringberg in neighbouring town of Coldstream. You can taste the beautiful cheese and milk products at the Yarra Valley Dairy located just off Melba Highway. Lilydale Airport is located on McIntyre Lane, offers aircraft hire and flying lessons. The Windsor Park Equine Centre is also worth a visit. The Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival held each March showcases the local food, wine, arts and crafts and has a wonderful select of music from local and visiting musicians and groups.
